Who is behind Boxique?

I just want to say a huge welcome to Boxique, it means the world that you are here reading this.

I work independently, creating the perfect party bag fillers and gift boxes for all occasions, as well as providing an opportunity for loved ones to come together to create long lasting memories.

I was a teacher of 12 years (Early Years specialism) and a childminder for 2 years, before starting a new adventure with my little family as we moved up the country. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I could not go back into teaching to be around for the little people that depend on me most. So, I needed another way of working from home… well a special friend of mine held my hand and gave me a range of ideas to work with. I decided this was the perfect path for me to follow because I could still put a smile on children’s faces without being in a classroom, even adults!

So, I just want to take a moment to thank my dearest friend from the bottom of my heart for giving me the courage to create Boxique, as well as my husband and family who have supported my every decision.

I have worked professionally throughout my career and pride myself in continuing to provide a professional and friendly customer service here. One of the key aspects in pursuing this career change was to provide affordable high-quality gifts for all occasions and you can rest assure that is exactly what you will find here at Boxique.

In such a short time, I have created favours for weddings, party bag fillers for children of all ages, gift boxes for many events, working with tearooms, as well as providing resources for art sessions in retirement homes.

There really is no age limit on these crafts, providing an opportunity for all to be creative, develop their concentration, support hand-eye coordination and a chance to explore their imagination. As Kandinsky says, “Colour is a power which directly influences the soul,” Well what better reason to pick up a paint brush and paint.
